Item 139 – Motivational QR Code

(SIDE-BY-SIDE) In a public place where it is needed, post a notice with QR code that leads to a positive motivational video of your creation. It could be a 15-second mini-meditation, some kind words, something motivational. Show us both the QR code and the place it’s posted in such a way that we can check the link. – Caelan H.

Item 131 – Native Speakers

(LENGTH DEPENDS ON THE NUMBER OF LANGUAGES) There are approximately 6,500 languages in the world, and we won’t be satisfied until we’ve learned to say “We Create, therefore we live.” in all of them. Record as many native speakers of non-English languages as possible stating this phrase. Submit your video with a total count of the number of languages in the comments. Bonus points for the team that captures the most languages.

Item 130 – Team Photo – GISH You Were Here

(GRID) Gishers, I miss you all and can’t wait to reconnect and hug you. Meanwhile, check in: Have every member of your team take a picture of themselves somewhere or with something that symbolizes the region where they live and a sign that says “GISH YOU WERE HERE IN (YOUR STATE/REGION/PROVINCE & COUNTRY)!” Note: you may photoshop the sign but nothing else.

Item 129 – Every Child Matters

As you know, in Canada, a series of horrific discoveries has been taking place at the sites of former residential schools, proving the genocide of Indigenous children. Read this article to understand what happened and why the orange shirt has become an emblem for supporting Indigenous children, then create an orange poster design that reads “Every Child Matters.” (To avoid cultural appropriation, do not use Indigenous symbols unless you are personally Indigenous.) Post your poster image to social media with a link to https://www.irsss.ca/ or another Indigenous Canadian group to show support.
